ABOUT US

Pat Young founded ROGA Contracting in 1971 behind the wheel of a single truck in Williams Lake. Today the ROGA Group includes over 200 employees and more than 150 pieces of equipment providing many different services across multiple natural resources sectors.

Pat Young's philosophy from the beginning has always been sustainable growth without compromising safety or the environment. By following this philosophy ROGA delivers industry-leading production methods and practices. Our company takes pride in delivering second-to-none service in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Troy Young now manages and maintains ROGA’s presence as a leading contractor across natural resource industries (since 2015). A tremendous part of ROGA’s success is attributed to the inclusion of Indigenous communities and developing strong, long-lasting, and prolific relationships with many communities, including:

Tseshaht First Nation [c̓išaaʔatḥ]

ROGA's project managers and harvesting operations managers have worked throughout the province on a range of projects including TC Energy's Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project, the Kemess Mine power line, Chevron's Pacific Trails Pipeline Project, BC Hydro's Telkwa Pass power line upgrade, Enbridge's Salmon River crossing, and delivering millions of meters of timber to Western Forest Products, Canadian Forest Products, Mosaic Forest Management, the Sinclar Group and others.

MISSION: To create value for our diverse group of stakeholders and their communities through innovative social, economic, and environmental practices in natural resources development and construction.

VISION: To be a leading heavy equipment contractor in BC's resource industries.

Most importantly, the ROGA Group has become a leader in partner-based reconciliation, in the boardroom and in the field, bringing meaningful relationships to life through business certainty and sustainability. ROGA fosters relationships and understanding across its various operating companies between our interconnected stakeholders by creating significant economic value for communities, career development for crew, and capacity-building for partner Nations.

Our network continues to grow and with it, opportunities for our partners and their communities
