Pat Young founded ROGA Contracting in 1971 behind the wheel of a single truck in Williams Lake. Today the ROGA Group includes over 200 employees and more than 150 pieces of equipment providing many different services across multiple natural resources sectors.

Troy Young now manages and maintains ROGA’s presence as a leading contractor across natural resource industries (since 2015). ROGA's project managers and harvesting operations managers have worked throughout the province on a range of projects including TC Energy's Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project, the Kemess Mine power line, Chevron's Pacific Trails Pipeline Project, BC Hydro's Telkwa Pass power line upgrade, Enbridge's Salmon River crossing, and delivering millions of meters of timber to Western Forest Products, Canadian Forest Products, Mosaic Forest Management, the Sinclar Group and others.
