Way Key Limited Partnership

Way Key LP is a 50/50 partnership between the We Wai Kai First Nation and the ROGA Group of Companies. Way Key LP provides general timber harvesting services to the mid-Vancouver Island region and self-performs volume on We Wai Kai timber licenses. Way Key LP purchased the A Wood Group in spring of 2023, consolidating it under one operating entity and renaming it Way Key Sand & Gravel. Way Key Sand & Gravel is currently producing over 1.5 million tonnes of aggregate and rip rap for BC Hydro's John Hart Dam project.

This partnership between We Wai Kai and the ROGA Group will provide lasting benefits to the community through provision of meaningful employment and capacity building. Way Key LP will build capacity through equity in assets and through training the work force. Current clients include Western Forest Products, Mosaic Forest Management, and BC Hydro.

Way Kay LP can leverage wider ROGA group competencies to complete various projects including right of way clearing, road building, grubbing and stripping, basic earthworks, subdivision development, mass excavations, reclamation, and a variety of utilities related services.
