Tseshaht First Nation (TFN) and ROGA Group crated Nashuk Limited Partnership as a step towards greater involvement in construction and forestry projects within the TFN traditional territory, ensuring sustainable development and economic growth. The company will employ community members and pay wages into the community as well as providing a source of income to the owners.
Nashuk LP is managed by a Board of Directors with equal representation, and this partnership emphasizes shared decision-making and mutual respect. ROGA will manage day-to-day operations, employing best practices in business processes, community engagement, and project management. ROGA brings heavy equipment, skilled labor, and administrative proficiency to ensure high-quality completion of diverse construction and earthworks projects such as road building, forestry, and urban development. There is a focus on training and employment opportunities for the TFN community, fostering skills and creating jobs.
ROGA and Tseshaht First Nation (TFN) have worked together since 2019. Since then, ROGA has provided over $500,000 in revenue sharing to TFN, and has created numerous employment opportunities for TFN members. This successful history has cumulated into the creation of Nashuk LP, which will immediately began operations in multiple sectors in early 2024 while building an equipment fleet to pursue additional works.
